Why is it free?
We think you should pay the AI provider directly at raw API cost, with no markup in between. Langsetu handles the Framer integration and you keep full control of your keys and spend.
What is BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key. You get a Google Translate or OpenAI API key and paste it into the plugin. It's saved inside Framer's plugin data, only accessible to you. We never see it, and translation requests go directly from the plugin to the API.
Which providers are supported?
Google Translate and OpenAI. Google Translate is the most affordable for high volumes. OpenAI tends to produce more natural, context-aware results.
Is my API key safe?
Yes. Your key is saved inside Framer's plugin data, think of it like a password manager built into the plugin. We never receive it, and all translation requests go directly from the plugin to Google or OpenAI.
How much does the API cost?
